Hi guys! Welcome to Little Chefs! When I was younger, I loved to cook, but so many of the things that I wanted to make were either too complicated or used things like stoves, ovens, and other appliances that I couldn’t use. So now I’m bringing you Little Chefs. Every once in a while, I will post a recipe that YOU can make– all by yourself! Our first recipe will be a delicious drink: Cinnamon Graham Cracker Frothed Milk! Here’s how to make this tasty treat:
1 1/4 cups of milk (or your favorite vegan milk)
1 1/4 tablespoons of honey (or your preferred liquid sweetener)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (This is optional, as it has become very expensive and may not be a budget-friendly ingredient for your family.)
1 tablespoon of crushed graham crackers
1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons of brown sugar or coconut sugar
Step One: Make Frothed Milk
For this, you are going to need a milk frother. For 9.99 USD, you can get one on amazon by going to http://www.amazon.com and searching “1Easylife H422 Stainless Steel Handheld Electric Milk Frother” OR you can just heat it in the microwave. It won’t be as foamy, but it will taste just as yummy. Anyway, froth or heat your milk with a tablespoon of the honey, the vanilla, and about half of the cinnamon. If you are using your microwave, be sure to mix it up well! Now pour it into your favorite glass.
Step Two: Top It Off
Next, mix the rest of the cinnamon, the graham crackers, and the sugar together, and that will be your topping. Then you can sprinkle it on top, but you’re not done yet! Drizzle on the rest of the honey, show off your tasty treat, and enjoy. I like to sip it with CADIA graham crackers and a cinnamon stick garnish, but banana bread with cream cheese is also a nice idea. I hope you love this as much as I do. Bye!!
